Tovrea Castle: (Historic Building Renovation Project)
The renovation project general contractor DL Norton had the daunting task of recreating the texture and color of the original concrete. After several mock up tests with acid stains and water-based stains with no success, they remembered the SoyCrete Concrete Stain that was used at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. SoyCrete not only is the most sustainable stain available on the market today, its made locally, and delivered the perfect custom color match.
The concrete was blasted by 5-Star Eco Blasting to create the desired texture and increase optimum absorption of the SoyCrete stain. Decorative Concrete Staining & Scoring performed the SoyCrete stain and sealer installation.
