Poly-Soy Protective Clear Finish TopCoat is an interior/exterior high performance bio-based finish that provides a penetrating seal while leaving a thin topical barrier to help enhance substrate protection. Poly-Soy is made from an industrial grade soy ester resin technology with a vegetable based urethane for a rapidly renewable resource material, that is able to replicate petroleum based polyurethane coatings without the odor or toxicity. It provides a superior protective satin or gloss finish to help resist substrate damage caused by stains, moisture, and light commercial foot traffic.
Poly-Soy is the preferred environmentally compliant solution that delivers safe application and fast return to service without toxic offgassing. Use Poly-Soy over decorative concrete, wood decks, wood floors, architectural features, cabinetry, furniture, integral colored substrates, or painted surfaces to provide a protective and beautiful topcoat finish.
When To Choose PolySoy?
Whenever a substrate is exposed to elements that contribute to staining or premature wearing, a penetrating seal and topcoat will provide an additional sacrificial barrier that extends the life and beauty of the substrate. Many applications also require a sheen rather than a natural finish to match its intended use and desired appearance that can only be achieved by a topcoat film. PolySoy's unique characteristics also allows it to be used as a glaze or faux medium when mixed with universal colorants to provide a one step color and seal application.
